My educational and professional experiences span multiple disciplines – from psychology to business – and industries – from academia to technology. I hold an MA in Counseling and an MBA. I have worked within program management, operations, career management, talent acquisition, and HR. I have coached and consulted on various topics, including Career Management, Leadership, Talent Acquisition, Team Effectiveness, Performance Management, and Organizational Design.
The primary driving force in my professional work is to help others develop a keen and strong self-awareness, develop insights and goals around that awareness, develop a plan to achieve those goals, and drive long-lasting change and transformation. Over my 20+ years of professional experience, I have held leadership roles in academic institutions and high-tech companies such as Santa Clara University, Google, and Microsoft. During the tenure in those positions, I have built and scaled highly productive, operationally efficient teams. I believe that leadership and relationships are built from a strong foundation of curiosity and empathy.
My professional endeavors also span to research and thought leadership in various topics, most recently in performance and talent management. The overall objective with this current research will be to: 1) develop actionable insights on both the strengths and challenges in performance and talent management strategies, techniques, and systems, 2) provide alternative solutions on how to unlock high performance in all contributors, and 3) how to grow and develop talent. The research and findings will be captured in book which will be released in 2025.
While I love to coach, I do enjoy life outside of my professional endeavors. I love to learn about various cultures and philosophies; love to travel; and love to dance!
